We are looking to appoint a Registrar and School Office Assistant at our Kensington Primary Academy and to be part of a highly committed and passionate team. The School opened in September 2016 with one Reception class. In September 2017 we are opening a Nursery, and will continue to grow by one class each year.
The role requires a well-organised professional with outstanding people skills, a passion for efficiency and an attention to detail. The role encompasses all aspects of pupil admissions, support, helping to market the school, coordinate school events, and the local delivery of admin support, material and activities. Experience in admissions and schools’ marketing would be advantageous.
This is a key position responsible for the smooth administration of admissions, communications and support services within the school. Working closely with the Headteacher, SLT, teachers, pupils and parents the role is pivotal to the delivery of efficient support to the school. The Registrar and School Office Assistant works with the Central Service Team (CST) to ensure the local delivery of Finance, HR, IT, Procurement and Site Management. The Registrar and School Office Assistant will also work closely with the Site Management Team to help keep the school operating efficiently every day.

Time commitment: Mon to Fri, 11:45 – 13:45, Term time only

Pension: the post holder will be eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme
Report to: Lunchtime Supervisor team leader
Kensington Primary Academy (KPA) opened in September 2016 with 1 Reception Class. This September we are opening a Nursery and will have 86 children.
We are looking for Lunchtime Supervisors to support the pupils during lunch breaks, helping them whilst eating their lunch and ensuring health and safety is maintained at all times. In addition, the post holder will supervise children in the playground and support the classroom teacher, organise activities and tend to minor injuries such as cuts and grazes, after completing First Aid training.
The successful candidate will:
- Be enthusiastic and have a flexible approach to work
- Have good communication skills and the ability to stay calm in an emergency
- Be able to work as a member of a team
- Be patient and enjoy working with children
