Job title: Clerk to the Local Governing Body
Start date: ASAP
Approximately 40-50 hours per term for the MAT and 40-50 hours per term for the Primaries
Knowledge Schools Trust and associated schools are looking for talented individual(s) to assist with clerking responsibilities. There are a range of opportunities which include clerking to the Local Governing Body of the West London Free School Primaries and the MAT Board.
The successful candidate(s) will support the ethos of the Trust, be highly organized, an excellent communicator, IT literate, experienced in clerking and be able to write in clear, simple English that is grammatically and syntactically correct and conforms to the Trust’s house style.
This is comprised of two evening meetings per term of up to three hours for the Trust and three meetings per term for the Primaries (1 at 8.15am and two at 6.15pm), additional committee meetings as requested, and the clerk’s responsibilities include pulling together and dispatching the papers before the meeting and circulating the minutes afterwards. The clerk will also be required to take minutes for exclusion panels when needed, flexibility towards the end of the school day would be helpful.
The meetings will take place at one of the school sites, which are based in Hammersmith and Kensington.
£25 per hour, this is negotiable subject to experience, flexible contract, largely home-based working.
The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is key.

Kensington Primary Academy, which opened in September 2016, requires an excellent Learning Support Officers for Reception/KS1.
